Yami Chapter 12-~Time~
First it was Hela, when she was still human. Then it was both of my parents at the same time. And now Akio…Akio…
I’ve lost too many people in a short amount of time. I can’t afford to lose anyone else. I have to do something.
I have to save Akio.
This battle between humans and vampires has lasted way too long. It has to end now. Hela has to be the leader of them all. If the leader’s dead, then they will most likely surrender. I hate to do it…but I have to.
I have located where Hela and Akio are hidden at. They are at the capitol building in downtown. And it is heavily guarded, by both vampires and the hypnotized. I have to prepare very well, otherwise I will not be able to make it at the end, much less have the chance to save Akio.
Akio…you’ve been with me through thick and thin. I can’t lose you now. I just can’t.
Hela…why? Why are you doing this to all of these people? What about all of those times
~One Wonderful Winters' Night~
As I started to get out of my car and walk up to my apartment building, snow started to fall.
Winter was coming.
The sun was slowly setting, and it was starting to get colder. I pulled my hat down even further, pulled my gloves down to make sure that they would stay on, and wrapped my jacket and scarf around myself to stay warm for the journey from my warm, cozy car to my even warmer and cozier bed in my apartment. I thought about playing winter themed songs for the next several days for my clients in my music therapy clinic room in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Walking across the parking lot, I thought about all of my younger clients and of how they were all excited for Christmas to come. They were so excited for Santa Claus to bring them all of their presents.
Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Sandman, the Tooth Fairy…I remember when I was a child, I believed in all of these fictional characters. I even had the dream that every child has now: wanting to see them. Wanting to actually m
Yami Chapter 11-~Words from Her Heart~
I think of you
I think of you
Everyone I see
I only see you
Everything I hear
I only hear you
I only dream of you
I only sing of you
I only think of you
Yami Chapter 10-~How they Met~
Iris was sitting in a crowded street underneath a window of a shop all alone. She had on a brown cloak and had the hood up. Next to her was a bucket, hoping that people would drop some money in it for her to go and buy some food. The bucket was empty, however. Iris was looking at the locket she was wearing, a silver heart-shaped locket with the pictures of her parents and Hela inside.
Iris heard the sound of change landing into her bucket. She looked into the bucket and saw about five dollars' worth of money. She looked up and saw a boy about her age with short, chopped blond hair look down on her. He was smiling, "You're welcome. But you don't need the bucket, do you?" He held out his hand, "Come on, I'll take you to my home. You won't be alone anymore."
Iris grabbed the bucket, and then grabbed the boy's hand. The boy helped Iris up. As she was getting up, her hood came down because of the breeze of how fast she was getting up.
"Hey, what a pretty face! What's your name?
Yami Chapter 9-~How She Came to Be~
Akio's body started shaking just as badly as Iris did before. Hela slowly moved her hand from his chin to his choker. Iris then realized what she was doing to Akio. She attempted to break free from the hypnotized civilians but she still couldn't do so. Hela ripped off Akio's choker.
Akio's eyes widened, "No…no, you can't do…t-this…" He said slowly.
Hela started to squeeze the chocker hard. The chocker then shattered into several tiny pieces.
Iris' eyes widened. "NO!" She yelled out.
Akio stopped shaking. His eyes slowly turned light red. The hypnotized civilians let Akio go. Hela let go of his hand as well.
"This is a true blood bond!" Hela said.
"No, Akio!!" Iris cried out.
Akio didn't respond. He walked up to Iris, took out his nun chucks, and hit Iris in the head. He hit her hard enough that she started to lose consciousness. "A-Aki…o…" The hypnotized civilians holding her captive let go of her and Iris fell to the ground, unconscious.
Hela smirked, "First me, t
Yami Chapter 8-~Unexpected Reunion~
A vampire stood in front of Iris and Akio, grinning insanely. Iris kept on shaking without being able to stop. Akio looked at Iris, "You know her?" He asked.
Iris slowly nodded, "That…that is…H-He..."
"My name is Hela." The vampire finished.
"What?! I have heard about you…you ARE supposed to be dead! Iris has told me all about you!" Akio said.
Hela looked completely different from when she and Iris were kids. She still had red hair, but down to the middle of her back. She had a maroon tight shirt, with a dark purple corset to cover the rest of her torso. She had on black pants, gloves and high-heeled boots of a darker shade of black. She had a red dagger necklace. Her eyes were the color of blood, and the whites in her eyes were now black.
"Why, Iris. How could you say that to me, after all of these years? Weren't we friends?" Hela asked. She walked up to Iris.
Iris crawled backward, "No! Stay back, you impostor! STAY BACK!"
Iris was now standing, with Hela behind h
Yami Chapter 7-~Mission Together~
Iris woke up the next morning in her bed, all tucked in. She was confused as to how she ended up back into her apartment. She got up and went to her desk and started writing in her journal.
I managed to kill a vampire with the hypnosis power. That's one less threat to worry about. I just wish there was a way to purify the vampires' evil ways. I just wish there was a cure. I know there are vampires out there who never wanted to become one. If only…
There was a knock on the door. "Rise and shine, sleepy head! We've been assigned a mission together!" Akio opened the door and saw Iris writing in her journal, "Again with the journal? What's with that, anyway?"
Iris looked at Akio, "Just a personal record for me, that's all." She put down the pen and closed the journal. "For the future generation, if we survive this." She got up from her chair and started to hook her weapons up. "So, what's the mission?"
"Oh, you know same old, same old. Vampire threatening to turn people
