Yami Chapter 5-~The Impossible Theory~

2012…

There had been plenty of rumors of the world ending in 2012. Maybe those people were right. The only thing they had wrong in their theories is that there is no fire or ice involved. It's an infection.
An infection that is causing people to go insane. They drink the blood of human beings and animals. The cause of this infection is unknown.
We call the infected a certain name; vampires.
The infected act just like vampires in the old stories, movies, and TV shows. Fangs of a beast, eyes like dark rubies, feeding only on human blood. They dig their fangs into the victim's necks. Some may turn into vampires themselves. Some may just simply die, if enough of their blood is devoured. Some vampires, though a rare trait, even have the power of hypnosis. The only detail that we know for sure of is that there is a different shade of red in the hypnotized eyes. This shows that there is a "blood bond" between the vampire and the one they've hypnotized.
There are only a few humans that have not been infected. Those who have not been infected have trained to defend ourselves. We trained in the art of the ninja. We are the only ones who can stop the infection. We are the only ones who can kill the vampires.

A young ninja finished writing in her journal. Another ninja, a young man, came up to her as she was writing the last few words in. "Iris, we found the location of the vampire that has been kidnapping girls and raping them. Katsu. We found out that he's one of the few rare vampires with the hypnosis trait and has been using it on the kidnapped girls. He is located to the west in a house hidden in the forest."
Iris looked up at the man, "Thank you Akio. I'll head over there now." Iris got up from the chair, grabbed her sword, hooked up a dagger, and headed off for the forest in the west. Iris' hair was now long enough that it went down to her chest. Her red shirt with a golden stripe and black short sleeves showed off her stomach. She wore bottoms that were half shorts, half long skirt, also black. The inside back of the skirt part of the bottoms were dark red. She wore a red belt with a yellow buckle and black boots. Bandages covered her arms, and a little blue flower in her hair. Her eyes still shone blue, but they were filled with hurt and loneliness.
Iris arrived at the forest. She browsed around the trees first, then entered. She searched around carefully for a house that could possibly blend in with the trees. She gripped the handle of her sword in preparation, in case an enemy came up anywhere near her. Then she heard a laugh.
"I'm so glad you all wonderful ladies could be with me this evening. You all make me so…happy…"
Iris looked toward the direction of the voice. There was the house, blended in, just as she thought. She walked up to the front door and knocked it down. She pulled out her sword and pointed it toward a man that was surrounded by six girls, all in bikinis and their eyes light red. The man, pale skinned, blood red eyes, short, choppy black hair, and wearing no shirt, looked up at Iris. He smiled, "Are you here to be part of my little club too, ninja?"
"Katsu…The only thing from your human life that stuck with you is your desire to rape. Now look at you, taking advantage of your new power, so you can endlessly satisfy that desire. I know one thing though, once I kill you, these poor girls will be free." Iris said. "You've done so much wrong, both as human and vampire…"
Katsu told the girls to move and got up and laughed, "How about I just simply have you join me and the others?" His eyes changed shades of red, to try to hypnotize Iris.
Iris also laughed, "You think I wouldn't come here prepared?" She pointed to the little blue flower in her hair, "We ninjas are always prepared for you and your silly hypnosis. Now, it's time for your medicine" Iris thrust her sword. The sword went through Katsu's chest.
"U-Ugh…What the hell?!" Katsu said.
Iris smirked, "This is not an ordinary sword. This sword was made of special silver so it can easily kill you vampire scum. Now, go to hell." Iris said, and brought her sword back.
Katsu screamed as his body slowly turned to dust. His pants fell to the ground and landed on top of Katsu's ashes.
The girls' eyes turned back to their normal eye colors and they looked around, "Huh? Where am I?" One asked; she looked down "AAHH! Where are my clothes?!"
Iris found some towels and tossed them to the girls, "Here, just put these on for now, and get out of here. Go back to your homes. It's dangerous here."
One other girl looked at Iris, "Um…thank you, Miss." She bowed to her in respect, "Let's get out of here!" They all ran out of the house.
Iris walked out of the forest and looked up at the sky, Hela…I wish you were here.
