Loki didn’t bother turning around at first, but the smell of white amber soon aroused his curiosity. He craned his neck around and jumped as a small child unceremoniously plopped downin fron of the bars, grinning ear to ear.

“Hallo!” Fyr said breathlessly. Her face was beet red and she was gasping for air. A fine sweat was beading on her forehead. “Wheeeew. That was a long run.”

“Hello,” Loki replied scratchily, stiffly turning around and crossing his legs. He weakly smiled as well; it was hard not to when such a sweet child was so happy. “Why so excited?”

Yami Chapter 8-~Unexpected Reunion~

A vampire stood in front of Iris and Akio, grinning insanely. Iris kept on shaking without being able to stop. Akio looked at Iris, "You know her?" He asked.
Iris slowly nodded, "That…that is…H-He..."
"My name is Hela." The vampire finished.
"What?! I have heard about you…you ARE supposed to be dead! Iris has told me all about you!" Akio said.
Hela looked completely different from when she and Iris were kids. She still had red hair, but down to the middle of her back. She had a maroon tight shirt, with a dark purple corset to cover the rest of her torso. She had on black pants, gloves and high-heeled boots of a darker shade of black. She had a red dagger necklace. Her eyes were the color of blood, and the whites in her eyes were now black.
"Why, Iris. How could you say that to me, after all of these years? Weren't we friends?" Hela asked. She walked up to Iris.
Iris crawled backward, "No! Stay back, you impostor! STAY BACK!"
Iris was now standing, with Hela behind her. How…?
Hela grabbed one of Iris' hands and placed her other hand underneath her chin, "Come on now, I'm no impostor. I know everything…" She then whispered in her ear, "We played kick the ball with that silly soccer ball, I saved you from that boy, we always hung out outside of school, and…" She got closer, "I…killed your parents."
Iris' eyes widened, she broke free of Hela's grip, and took out her sword. "YOU killed my parents?! Why you…!!" She charged at Hela. Hela was nowhere to be found. Iris looked around, "Where the hell did you go?!"
"Iris!" Akio called from behind her. Iris turned around and found Akio trapped by two of the civilians who were hypnotized by Hela. He struggled to break free, but their grip was too strong.
"Akio!" She took one step, and then the other two civilians caught her. "Let me go, let me go!" Iris cried out.
Hela appeared behind Akio, "I thought you would be more…experienced than this, Iris. I've been watching you nearly this entire time, after all." She said calmly. She grabbed Akio the same way she did to Iris, and started to lick his neck.
"What…what the hell are you going to do to me?!" He asked.
"Just…going to make you. All. Mine." Hela replied.
"No, No!" Iris cried out.
Then, the fangs of the beast dug into Akio's neck.

This chapter wasn't as long as I intended it to be...but oh well, I guess xD I'm going to try to make chapter 9 longer x3 (especially since it's going to have a flashback x3)
